Ski Club Summer Picnic June 7

The annual NM Cross Country Ski Club Summer Picnic is coming up on Jun 7, 2015, at the Wildlife West Nature Park.We will again have the Event Barn for our event. The summer picnic is our opportunity to get together and reminisce about the past ski season and everybody's desire to be a lot cooler.

We will again have a grill going for burgers and lots of pot luck food from all participants. So plan on bringing your favorite items. We will have announcements in the near future about how you can volunteer to help with some of the tasks, such as set up, cooking, cleanup, and maybe a few other things. So watch for your opportunity to play a role.

The Wildlife West Nature Park will also be open to the public, with all of their animals on display. The park specializes in exhibits of animals that have been injured or customized in such a way that they cannot be returned to the wild without endangering themselves or people near their habitat.
