Steamboat Springs Bus Trip 2016

Steamboat Springs was a fantastic trip in 2014. We listened to you and have booked the wonderful Nordic Lodge Motel again, this time for 4 nights: March 3, 4, 5 and 6!

Yes we understand that if we are going to have a long bus trip, then we are going to stay and enjoy ALL that Steamboat has to offer. Steamboat’s amenities to be enjoyed include two different hot springs, one in town and one that is in the hills that is not as developed.

Restaurants are varied along Lincoln Avenue including a brew pub! The bus will be idle Monday morning so that Yoga class, shop or bookstore/coffee shop can be enjoyed! Don’t want to be idle? There’s the Quarry trail across the Yampa River from the motel. Oh yes! The skiing! There are two Nordic centers in town, and two on the way to the beautiful backcountry trails along Rabbit Ears Pass, where the loops can be linked in different ways to make each day new! And that Hogan Park Route, 6.5 miles one way to the back side of the downhill area, a lift to a downhill run and shuttle back to Lincoln Avenue.
